Nexus 4 case

I saw some videos on youtube and found that screen of nexus 4 is weak. I may break if fall from height. So, I was thinking to buy a case. But, as u know, Nexus's back panel is very beautiful. Don't wanna hide it. So, suggest me the case which does not cover back panel. Official case is good for it, but some says that's not successful.

Also, can a screen protector work the same? If yes, then which one will be good?
