Nexus 4 Clock issues

My phone is my alarm clock. But the last couple days. The alarm is not going off...well it is going off but it is not responding. It puts the going off symbol in the notification bar and as soon as I unlock my phone it says that the clock is not responding. I try to click it and same thing. Only thing to do is to shut down the phone and boot it back up. Any ideas as to what could be causing this clock issue?

Not sure but go ahead and try another alarm app. There are a few nice ones on the play store.

Settings -> Apps -> All tab -> Clock -> Clear data and Clear cache.
