Nexus 4 not detecting new battery

I had to replace the Nexus 4 battery, but the black rectangular connector piece (with 4 gold things) between the two screws got detached when I pulled out the old battery. Is there any hope for replacing this battery connector or reattaching it?

Try taking it to a phone repair shop would be my only advice.
