Nexus 4 + otg + charge

Hi,

I am planning on using my nexus 4 to back up a lot of photos while I am travelling. I have found a good method but there are some issues.

I have managed to get OTG capabilities on the Nexus 4 using this guide: Android Advanced: USB OTG on the Nexus 4 | Android Central

and the rest I have read from here: How to Back Up Your Pictures Using an Android Tablet and External Hard Drives

I am going to be connecting a card reader/usb hub, a usb power pack and a Hard drive to my phone.

The only problem now is that while the phone is in host mode using OTG it will not be charging.

Does any one know if a wireless charger works at the same time as OTG is functioning?

That kernel will NOT work with the Nexus 4.

I don't know though if wireless charging continues when USB and/or an OTG cable is plugged in.
I don't believe it does. I think it flips off when you hook up usb but i'm at home and my wireless charger is at work.
