Nexus 4 unusable after updation to android 5.0 Lollipop

recently upgraded my N4 to android 5.0 lollipop. post updation the phone is behaving crazy... none of the google apps including gmail, google play music, google settings function. the app starts and exits... besides basic apps like google dialer crash also. third party apps like whatsapp, FB, twitter seem to be working fine as of now although sluggish.
so far i have rebotted my phone almost 10-12 times a day and disable google now but no result

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried wiping the system cache partition? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5994

If that doesn't work, you may want to consider a factory reset.

Sounds like you didn't do a clean install.
