Does $60 seem a little steep? Aren't there cheaper alternatives that do the same thing. Google should send out free ones as reparations for the ordering fiasco.

Well considering wireless charging for cell phones is in it's infancy still and compatibility is important so that you don't damage your phone, I'd say yes. It would be worth it to buy the official deal from Google.

I don't think so. I think it's fair for the convenience. Now I have a spare charging cable that actually works with the nexus 4. Fr some reason all of my other micro USB cables fall out of the nexus. Wireless charging is awesome. Set and forget.
