Nexus 4 with Orange (EE) PAYG

I see that I am using money on data (bandwidth) and want to know how to stop that completely. I have turned off "data" but I assume that's for a broadband (wifi) connection. But what about the mobile link where (I think) data piggybacks through this? Am I right? Thanks.

Go into Settings > Wireless & Networks > More > Mobile Networks > Untick "Data enabled" & "Data roaming"

It will only use data over wifi then & not your network carrier 3G signal.

Actually, I would also pay that way! Because Ap updating would kick off. Am I right?
