nexus 5 charging

is it me or when i use my nexus 5 and charge it, the charger doesn't have enough power to run my apps and charge, i need to turn my screen off and let it charge :'(

so it was at 90% and 10minutes after of playing on phone it goes to 89%

Depends on what you are playing and what else is running at the same time. But it can happen. similar to if I plug in while using Google maps it just slows down the battery drain. Have had the same thing happen on other devices.

Maybe you need a new cable.

It depends on what you're using to charge it, too. The USB port on a PC won't supply the same current as many dedicated chargers.

Let the device fully charge then go to almost 0 and post a screen shot of the battery usage screen. It really depends on what you are using the device for and if the services are battery intensive, such as games.
