nexus 5 for sprint quetions

I have sprint service, before committing to the nexus 5 I would appreciate help on the following issues.

1. If I buy the nexus 5 from Google can I activate it on SPRINT.
If I can then will it sill be unlocked (i,e remove the SIm and use on other US carrier)
2. I do expect the phone to be unlocked internationally, Once I am abroad, Will I be able to change the APN.
for example on unlocked Sprint GS4 The APN menu was grayed. I was a able to use the phone, but not for data.
3. What about tethering: Will it work if I buy the phone from the Google play store.

I hope that I will not need that. Can I root the sprint or the Google version of the phone.

1) Yes you can buy it from google and activate it on sprint. Did it with my 32gb. Yes it will be unlocked still. Just pop the sim out whenever you decide to switch carriers or leave the states.
2) Not to sure about that. maybe someone else knows.
3) Yea tethering should work fine if you buy it from the play store and use it on sprint. your'e just probably going to have to pay the $20 month fee i believe. Of course you can root. Root anything to your hearts desires.

I will actually replace my GS4 with it. Do I need to move the SIM card form the GS4 to it, or sprint will give me a new one.

From what im hearing you should be able to just pop your GS4 sim into it and your good to go. Just go online and activate the phone. I've read on forums where people already did that. I never had to do it since i was coming from a gs3, no sim for me. Had to take it to the store.
