Nexus 5 on boostmobile

If the nexus 5 launches compatible with sprint bands, will i be able to activate it on boostmobile?

Unless things changed recently then No, Boost has no BYOD plan and they require you to buy one of their phones. Boost would have to specifically sell the device to use on their network for it to work or until Sprint realizes what century it is and updates their policy.

Sprint phones are now welcome on Boost and Virgin Mobile

can any body verify whats on this link?
a google search leads to this and similar results.
thank you.

Iirc this was for limited devices that Sprint allowed on the network. They don't allow every device and we are not sure yet whether the N5 will actually be a "Sprint" device or simply a device that is capable of running on Sprint. So imo wait until its announced and then ppl may know more. Right now we know basically nothing.

I know sucks dont it ;) I'm wondering the same thing however the chances of it being likely arent very good. At least officially as you might be able to clone it onto Boost or Virgin since it will work on Sprint just like other phones(ex GS3, EVO, etc). Will be limited to Sprints CDMA 3G network though in that case so here's hoping the officially allow it.
