Nexus 5 pricing vs. Note 3 pricing

Okay, I'm just losing Zzzzz's over this. Which is it?

These are both great devices but something's going on with the pricing. Is the Nexus 5 underpriced @ $349 or is the Note 3 overpriced at $724?.

Google eating a bit of the Nexus 5's cost so everyone can have one or Samsung gouging us enthusiasts? I'm a Note 3 wielding wanna-be-Ninja, yes, but even I realize the Note 3 isn't worth >2x the cost of the Nexus 5.

I agree with your idea that Samsung has overpriced the Note 3 while Google is helping to keep the costs of the Nexus 5 down. It's really hard to say. You can also look at it form the perspective that the Note 3 is a "premium device" with its larger screen, S-Pen and other features which Samsung knows it can charge more and get the price they ask for this device.
