So there is a guy selling a nexus 5 from T-Mobile new in box he recently upgraded and decided to keep his iphone and he has a business account. Is the phone inherently unlocked or is that a lie.

I have AT&T and just wanted to make sure before I give the money that it does come factory unlocked even if it is sold from T-Mobile.

Just make sure the IMEI/ESN is clean and not blacklisted.

Well he was selling it for 300 and I can probably get him down to 250 but that does sound to good to be true

There are websites that allow you to check and see if a device is balcklisted. This happens when someone doesn't fully pay off a device.

Check IMEI - IMEI.info
