Nexus 5 wireless charger work with Turbo?

My Turbo seems to recognize the charger by changing the screen when I set it on the charger but it never charges.

Any info on this?

Welcome to Android Central! Any wireless charger should work--you need to make sure it's positioned correctly. Some phones can be a little finicky with the positioning. When it starts charging, the screen shouldn't change, although it might light up if the phone was asleep to begin with. There's typically a 3-tone sound when charging starts, and you should just see a lightning bolt appear in the battery icon in the notification bar.

By the way, this is based on my experience with the Nexus 5, but I don't think other phones do anything drastically differently when charging wirelessly.

Yeah it shouldn't matter that it's a nexus charger, as long as it's Qi compatible, which it should be. The charging target pops up on screen right? Is there an indicator on the actual charger? And also, does the charging target continuously pop up as if there's bad placement on the charger?

I agree that it should work, but like the OP, I also cannot use the Nexus wireless charger on the Droid Turbo. What happens, I think, is that the magnet is strong enough to trigger the Flip Cover mode (can't post links, but do a Google Search for "droid turbo flip cover window" and go to the first link, which shows how the screen changes to work with the window), but never seems to actually start charging the phone.

I've given up on this charger working for the Droid Turbo, which makes me sad .

I get the exact same thing. Too bad. It'll sell with the N5 now.
