Nexus 5x crashing

My Nexus 5x has been completely freezing then rebooting about 5 times a day. This has been going on since I got Nougat. Anybody else experiencing this? Kernel Version: 3.10.73-g76d746e

Some 5X devices are not compatible with N due to internal hardware problems, best bet is to make a claim with Google for a replacement, or downgrade to marshmallow.

I spoke to Google and they are replacing my phone. They seem to be aware of this issue on 'some' 5x's.

Have you done a factory reset on your phone? Often that will solve any issues & at this point you have nothing to lose by trying.

There isn't a specific set of 5Xs with the issue, they are just a hit or miss with random devices.

Yep factory reset was done. The support person said some devices have HW issues with the new OS. Not sure what that means.
