Nexus 5X; Rebooted and no longer turns on

Hi,

I have a problem with my 5X: While speaking on the phone, it just turned off. I don't know why it happened, not sure if it's a battery issue or something else.

I plugged it in and after trying multiple times (holding power button for more than 15 seconds) it finally turned on. There was an "updating Android" circle (Nougat 7.1.1 January update, I assume). I left the phone on, plugged into my computer., After about 3 minutes, the screen went black.

Since then, I am unable to even get a Google logo when trying to turn the phone on.

Has anyone ever seen this? Is this a battery issue? I'm pretty sure I had more than 60% of my battery an hour ago, but I'm not sure anymore.

Any ideas? For now, I'm letting it charge to see if that was the problem.

Thanks,

L

Hey Laurent,

I've had what seems to be exactly the same problem and haven't been able to fix it, have you had any luck?

Im 99% sure its not a battery issue because I bought a replacement battery and that didn't fix anything, and I feel like if it was going to be a battery issue, the device would still boot when plugged in.

Sorry I cant help more, I hope you get this sorted :)
