Hey,
I just got my n6 in the mail today and just like every phone, I add the advanced task manager app on my phone. This time however I keep getting the same message its happened at least three times now, it says "CPU lagg caused by so and so app" and it gives a time frame " have anyone else seen this?
Also, do you think it might be a fluke? I've never seen that message on my moto x.
Another question what is a alternative app other then advanced task manager?

Tried to replicate your issue but all seems fine with Nexus 6 im using. As for an alternitive, try advanced task killer (Blue cross with android).

Task managers will, in most cases, cause more problems than not using one. Android, since many versions ago, has done a really good job of caching unnecessary apps. Android decides, based on your usage, and internal algorithms, and app schedules, which app to cache, and which app to kill (if memory is low).

When you kill an app, Android will decide to restart it when it is "required". Killing and Starting an app will use more CPU cycles and battery than just leaving it suspended. Unused RAM is wasted RAM. There is absolutely no need to try to free up RAM by killing apps.

Here's an old article about this - Android Task Killers Explained: What They Do and Why You Shouldn't Use Them
The same holds true even now.
