Nexus 6 camera better than iPhone 6+?!

How is it in lower light motion shots? I have an active toddler and the Note 4 camera is a bit weak here and will blur more frequently than the iPhone 6 plus. If the nexus 6 is even better than the iPhone 6 plus in this regard then I would strongly consider it.

Some Samples, these are all cropped by 50% and have a 100% crop section within.

Not getting into a pissing contest here . I have not ever had an iPhone but have been plenty disappointed with several camera apps on various Android devices.... That disappointment ends here with the Nexus 6. Both images taken in HDR mode , first one at 7:15 am as snow crept in over The Bronx and second image just now at 5:15 pm of the same scene....taken from 6th floor condo , nothing extra done here ,second image details f2, 1/26 sec. ISO 350

That second image is really nice.

I am not dissing the Nexus 6 camera or the images it produces, I am more than happy with them. I was just comparing my experiences with the two phones/cameras. My only gripe and its a small one is the app, if it loaded faster it would be great. I generally have the camera pre-loaded now for quicker access.

No I'd like nexus 6 owners to admit the phone is a mediocre shell for lollipop. Admit that they feel duped by Google and Motorola. Admit that you shouldn't have to change your brightness to 40%, disable push notifications, and turn off lte to get decent battery life. Admit that you're tired of hoping a software update will fix things that should be working before the device was released.

I owned the nexus 6 for almost 2 weeks and everyday that I owned it, I hoped I could deal with the issues but I couldn't. It was the nexus 4 all over again.

I just think nexus 6 owners are attaching themselves to anything that'll justify their purchase.

And yes people are posting photos that look great on Google plus. In the nexus 6 discussion......

My Nexus 6 lasts a longer than 2013 MotoX and that's plenty for me. I don't care what other phones have. I actually don't even know what you were talking about until I read "to get decent battery life" because I don't do anything you mentioned.
So no, I have nothing to admit... The phone is great (although a little too big for my taste)

Folks, drop the petty argumentative stuff. If you want to contribute productively, then please do. Otherwise, move along.

Everyone thinks there's something magic about an iPhone camera. There isn't. Both iPhone and Nexus cameras use Sony sensors and Sony lenses. The iPhone has stayed with an older 8 megapixel camera and the Nexus 6 went with a newer 13 megapixel camera using a new 6 element Zeiss lens. It's hardly surprising that the Nexus 6 camera is better.

iPhone seems yo have better software to process daytime shots. But low light shots with HDR+ are incredible.
