I really don't expect much out of this camera since it's the moto x camera + OIS. OIS doesn't help much. Prepare for disappointment again.
At least the battery will probably be better.
It is not the same, it is a newer sensor. Google it.

Wrong. The Moto X 2014 use the Exmor IMX135. The Nexus 6 use IMX214. I have experience with both of these sensors. The Moto X use Motorola software for processing, the Nexus 6 use Google software, there is a new camera API for Android L. All clues point to a better looking camera than the current Moto X, I'm not claiming it will be amazing, but better.I really don't expect much out of this camera since it's the moto x camera + OIS. Not all Android news site are trustworthy.Someone on XDA said that wasn't actually a N6. I can only hope so. This phone better have a decent camera.

I get pretty amazing results with it. For low light situation, I can control the ISO and shutter speed which eliminate noises. One+ also has the IMX214 and its camera isn't really that great. Nexus 6 has OIS in addition but that doesn't affect PQ.
