The screen is getting very hot. I have the i-blason rugged case on it and I'm worried it is insulating the heat in too well and might do long term damage to the battery or internal parts? Battery temp just measured around 44 Deg C, 111 deg F! It usually jumps when I play resource intensive games. To the point where the game actually becomes choppy because I assume the chip sets are getting too warm?

Anybody else have this issue? Any other rugged case recommendations that will help conduct the heat out better?

I've read reports about people complaining about their units getting hot. Never had a problem with mine while working, steaming movies, or gaming. I've played Hitman:Sniper, Riptide II, etc ... No issues.

Sorry. I found out that this app reported temperatures wrong. Here is a better app uploadfromtaptalk1435440430264.jpg

As you can see, it's 10 degrees less.

It's actually 2.5C higher. The 48C on the first screenshot was the alleged temperature of your phone's CPU, probably obtained via an algorithm since few phones allow you to monitor CPU temperature. The first app was giving you a battery temperature of 36C.

I downloaded another two apps and they both gave me lower temps. I'm more inclined to believe the other two. 😂
