Nexus 6: Inaccurate Battery

Since have charging issues with the original cable that came with my phone breaking and getting a new phone my phone has not been accurately showing the battery usage below 60% it just cuts off there. Time wise it seems to be wearing down at a normal rate though. How do I remedy this issue?

Additionally after it discharging again and me charging it up again last night after resetting the bootloader logs again I am currently down to 50% ish now and not died again yet so maybe I just need to keep discharge resetting logs and charging until it's fully reset?

Same happened to me. The cable supplied wasn't the right size . it kept falling out or lose, I was getting intermittent charging. I used my Nexus 9 charger and cable, now it's perfect.
