Nexus 6, S6 Edge Plus or Moto X Pure Edition

Hey guys so I am switching from my iPhone 6 Plus to one of these phones which would you recommend? I like the idea of pure android with none of the 'touchwiz lag' I've heard of, however I love the look of the camera on the S6 Edge Plus. I need a 5.5 inch screen at least due to my large hands. I don't want to have to upgrade the phone either for a good 12-18 months. Any opinions appreciated!

N6 or pure are the best bang for your buck. N6 can be had for 300 to 350

Have an N6 and a Pure. I am using my N6 until I get a case for the Pure. I prefer the size of the Pure and its radio is a tad better too.

Note 5 was not on ur list but my brother switched from Nexus 6 to note 5 and he LOVES IT. no lag and smooth/fast as nexus 6 even more. Only mentioning this in case u want something bigger than 5.5 inches. Good luck!

If your coming from an iPhone I would recommend the nexus 6 or moto pure because they run pure Android and performance rocks. Samsung's are loaded with bloatware and touchwiz hampers the phones performance. I have owned three Samsung phones (note, note 2, s3 and note 3) and have had various iphones. Trust me you can't go wrong with either one and both phones are unlocked

I have been going through the same debate. I need an android phone for a few apps that are not on my 1020. I was looking at buying a note 4, but I have been reading recently that Samsung intentionally slows down their last generation phones when a new one is on the horizon to make it seem like the new one is much faster. Conspiracy theory? maybe, who knows. I know the nexus does not have any bloatware in it. For the price I can get a n6 and a new moto x pure. I am going that route. N6 first, then get the moto x. I do love windows phone and my nokia. Best phone I have owned. I just need square for work. So, might as well buy the best devices.

Don't go Samsung...I'm switching to a N6 from an S6 active...worked fine the first month and then the lag set in...damn TouchWiz

You'll be sorry, VERY sorry. I switched from an iPhone 6 to a Nexus 6. Battery life on the N6 is ATROCIOUS and the device is FAR TOO WIDE. If you MUST make a bad decision anyway and switch to Android, the Moto X Pure Edition should be your one and only option. DO NOT BUY A NEXUS 6 AT ANY PRICE.
