Nexus 6 size - how do you carry your phone around?

Question for all you N6 owners - how do you carry your phone when you're out and about and not using it? Do you put it in your pocket (front or back)? Do you have a holster? Just carry it in your hand? Also, anyone make the move from the N5 and finding the size difference to not be a big deal?

I have an N5 now and love it (Gnex user before that), and the only thing stopping me from going to my local TMo store and getting an N6 is the size. I used a holster for a time with my GNex and decided that I don't like holsters, and I feel like the N6 would barely fit in my pocket. What have your experiences been with this?

When I'm walking around in my jeans, it is in my back pocket. But when I sit down anywhere, it moves to my front pocket of the jeans, or my hand. It does feel rather big in the front pocket (compared to my N5)

I moved from the N5, and am already used to the larger size. It is actually usable with one hand for me (I'm 5'10" - with just average hands). I'm able to support it at the bottom with my pinky, and able to get to the notification bar with my thumb (have to hold the phone slightly differently than my N5, but is still secure).

I keep mine the the front pocket with no issue, However I do wear loose fit jeans to work and sometimes I forget that thing is in my pocket, If you wear Skinny Jeans then yes a holster is needed.

I'm coming from the Note series so the size really don't bother me much, I actually prefer the size of the N6 over the Note.

I home office (self employed) and my N6 is either sitting on a Qi charger on my desk or it's in my shirt pocket. It lives in a Cruzerlite TPU case.

I read (Kindle app) before going to sleep and then it goes under my pillow for the night.

When the market opens in the morning it goes back on the Qi charging pad on my desk.

When I'm out and about during market hours it goes in my shirt pocket and runs my Interactive Brokers trading platform beautifully. I love the size!

Assuming mine ships I'll keep it in my front jeans pocket, NFC anker pad and timbuk2 bag on CTA.

Most of my front pockets are deep enough to engulf this monster of a phone (even my more tight fitting jeans), so it sits there if I'm moving about. Otherwise it sits on some type of surface if available when I'm sitting or on a mount in my car.

Front pocket if out and about.
Holder in the car.
Stand at work.
Attached to my hand when at home. ;)

Mav.

Does the N6 have magnets built in like the N5? I got a magnetic car holder for my N5 and I love the convenience of that.

Rear jean pocket opposite of my wallet.... Front pocket of my Khaki's.... Fits fine in my pockets.. My car actually has a little cut out right below the gear shift that fits the phone perfectly... My desk at work I have my Vu Qi Charger to keep it to where I can see notifications while keeping it charged.... Vu on my night stand at night and my hand all other times...

From using one in store, size wasnt too bad, what annoyed me was the button placement on the side. I kept hitting the volume buttons because I was so used to buttons being higher up on previous phones. Wish they would have moved the buttons a little higher up.

Agreed; the buttons interfere with normal carry grip.

Button placement was my biggest gripe the first week... but I actually do use this thing almost exclusively one handed... but after a week I've now adjusted my grip to such that I now naturally have my index finger on the dimple in the back and my thumb is naturally right above the power button now.... that first week I was constantly powering it on and off by mistake.... I was constantly saying to myself that was stupid.. I wish they were back up where they use to be......

Now that dimple is my natural place to position my index finger and my pinkie goes right where the USB port is and I've gotten a great balance... I don't grip the phone on the sides anymore like I use to with my Nexus 5... I grip it more on the front and back of the device as it's more comfortable now....(or for me it is)
