My 6 has been noticeably getting worse and worse at opening apps and Google search.

I don't know what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

The Nexus 6 is renowned for being a really fast, smooth-running phone. It's kinda unusual to hear a complaint of poor performance. Someth is probably hogging CPU cycles. Likely your battery drains quicker than it should tool.

Read this post. It should help you find the problem. If not, if you can't find a misbehaving app, you might consider a cache partition wipe.

Ah bummer...

You can even go to settings > apps and switch over to "running" up top to see what may be causing the CPU drain
