Nexus 6 vs. iPhone 6+ - Help me decide.

Re: Nexus 6 vs. iPhone 6+. Help me.

I'll have 3 tabs open in Chrome, sometimes it will close a tab sometimes it closes the app and sometimes it goes to the last page. I must be doing something wrong...

Thats normal...if the tab has no previous pages, it is supposed to close if you hit the back button. If you have no tabs, it closes the app. It works just like the ESC key on a PC.

I don't use a PC:P

If you want to use the app back button, just use reachability by double tapping, not pressing, the home button. This will lower the app screen so you can reach it with your thumb. Once you get used to it, it's very convenience.

This one is hard. Both devices aren't really utilizing the screen size right. But at the same time, the Nexus 6 is a beast. Either way you can't go wrong, and this is really do you prefer iOS 8 or Android Lollipop.

In Android there's a separate multi-task button that does the same thing with one tap.

The back button is mostly for going to the previous screen in the same app, and IMO is more intuitive than either multitasking solution (iOS or Android).

I'm asking myself a similar question. Only it's iPhone 6 vs Moto x.

The decision is simple, I saw a couple of news articles a few months back suggesting "several studies" that proved rich people own Iphones, while the poor and unwanted peasants own Android. So if you want to be rich, buy the IPhone.

I don't have a single credit card anymore, so I had to pay for my new phone in cash. I chose to go from Windows Phone to Android, and according to the "research" the only reason I must have chosen Android instead of IOS is because I couldn't afford an IPhone. Which explains why I had to limit myself to the LG G3 and a Moto 360 smartwatch. Shame I didn't have enough money for a basic IPhone, being a poor peasant and all. :p

Which begs the question, if I buy an IPhone that is automatically supposed to make me rich, does that mean what remains of my old student loans magically disappear? Because if that's the case, I'm joining the IPhone bandwagon and will wear the I-Sheep badge with pride. Makes you think though, if these "studies" are correct how come I never see infomercials for "Get rich quick by buying an IPhone" running on TV in the middle of the night?

Anyway, the point is that you shouldn't be one of us poor smelly Android peasants, and should instead aim for Apple royalty. Now excuse me while I go drown the misery of my Android poverty with a good bottle of wine.

As much as I enjoy android and all the hardware and customization options don't forget you can easily jailbreak an iPhone and have A LOT of customization and widgets on your iPhone. It's a lot of fun too. We androiders leave that out but turn around and talk about all we can do by rooting our phones.

Re: Nexus 6 vs. iPhone 6+. Help me.

I've checked out both your choices, and the winner is...LG G3!!! N6 is too wide, and iPhone 6+ is made by Apple.:p

Re: Nexus 6 vs. iPhone 6+. Help me.

G3? That's not very nice of you.

Haha. You get the best of both. The size of the 6+(without the Apple restrictions). 5.5" is the perfect size. I've got the G2, but i'll be getting the G3 very soon.:p

Re: Nexus 6 vs. iPhone 6+. Help me.

G3 is a nice phone but I would go with nexus 6 FTW.
Compared to 6+ it has bigger screen but without horrible bezels, making it not much larger. Also screen and OS makes it no-brainer for me.
