TouchID is nifty but not all it's cracked up to be (trust me, you can survive without it). BUT Apple Pay is quite a good addition if you actually use it and go to places that support it. The Nexus does have Google Wallet, but again, you'd have to go to establishments that support that payment method.
However, if those two particular features are what draw you to your phone, then I'd strongly suggest you consider the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge. Samsung Pay one ups Apple Pay in that it doesn't need to be supported, you can use it anywhere that accepts credit SWIPED card payments, just as if you had swiped your actual card. I believe Visa and Mastercard, so far, are on board, so that covers a huge chunk of available credit cards.
UPDATE: Thanks Ry for the clarification. Samsung Pay does not work with 'insert your card' terminals (ATM's, most Gas Pumps, etc.), it only works with card swipe methods.
