Nexus 6p battery drain, how can I fix it?

Nexus 6p battery drain

I got the phone last week I was wondering if there are settings I can check to improve the battery. It went down from 100% to 85% in less than 2 hours. I did very little browsing no games kept not used apps closed but the battery still drained. What could be the problem and how can i fix it?

What do you battery usage stats indicate after such a discharge?
Also, what is your signal like?

Also, take note of which apps you have installed other than stock. As you troubleshoot this issue, one of the things you can try is to uninstall any apps you have installed. Or start your phone in safe mode and start the user installed apps one at a time to see if you can determine a culprit. I have also read that some apps such as Gas Buddy?? are battery hogs.

WeatherBug still has issues with battery drain, AFAIK. GasBuddy used to have the issue, but the latest version fixed it for me. I run NapTime in the Aggressive mode too, which I believe helps a lot.
