Nexus 6P - Calendar notifications are intermittent

I've been having a problem with my 6P where calendar notifications are intermittent. Sometimes I'm notified that I have an appointment and other times I receive no notification even though the appointment is showing in the calendar (yes, notifications are turned on). Interestingly enough, I always receive the notifications on my Nexus 10 tablet.

I had set an appointment a week ago for yesterday (Monday), and set notifications to notify me Sunday night at 6 and Monday morning at 8:30. The 6P never made a peep, but my Nexus 10 alerted me to both the notifications.

Anyone know what is up with that?

Possibly the same issue that is going on with GMail and every other google app? They said that bug is fixed for a "future release" and it's only a small priority bug if that is the case.

So let's see, no notifications (or intermittent) for calendar events, no notifications for Gmail and no LED notifications for missed calls (without a third party app). Gotta say, while I love the phone (hardware) Googles software (firmware?) is downright shoddy.

have you contacted Google? I don't use Gmail but I use the calendar app and haven't had any problem. I bought mine launch day ... And always receive missed call notifications.
