I'm in the market for a new phone as our company is switching from Verizon to AT&T. I currently have a Droid Turbo and love it for the whole user experience and especially for the battery life. It's one year old and still able to get nearly 7 hours of SOT with 15% remaining. I'm considering the 6P, the Moto X Pure, and maybe even the Priv as I love real keyboards. My questions relate to some of the features I'm used to on Motorola phones. I'm not sure which ones are exclusive to Moto and which ones are baked into Android and would be on the 6P.
1. Attentive Display (where the screen stays on as long as you're looking at it)
2. Trusted devices for keeping phone unlocked
3. Trusted places for keeping phone unlocked
4. Can Google Now be set to always be listening like Moto voice, even when the phone isn't being used / locked?
5. I currently use Moto Display for notifications. I turned it off and enabled Ambient Display to see how that works but I haven't noticed it working or doing anything at all, even as I watch when notifications initially come in. How is Ambient Display supposed to work on the 6P? Will the screen come on whenever the phone is picked up or only after the power button is pressed?
6. I remember reading a thread in the 6P forum a while back that suggested it would have some of the gestures that Motorola was using like the double twist to open the camera app. Is this case? Chop-chop for flashlight? Any other gestures that Moto doesn't have?
It's a shame the 6P isn't available anywhere to actually see. I hate buying something that expensive without playing with it first
Thanks in advance for any answers.
