Hey guys are any of you experiencing Issues connecting to LTE after the 6.0.1 update for At&T or T-Mobile? I updated and was only able to get HSPA+ here in Phoenix, AZ. I know we have band 12 and 4 LTE here in the east valley so it wouldn't connect for the life of me. I saw a Reddit post regarding the issue and I followed the fix to turn 4g enhanced on and off and re register it on the network by selecting network operators. After that it fixed and connected just fine.I rebooted my phone and the issue came back again. Seeing if anyone here had it and any permanent fix because I didn't see any on Reddit.

Thanks!!!

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.01 update

seems its a widepspread issue, judging by posts on xda and elsewhere.

most likely we'll have to wait for a fix from the googleplex.

BTW, I am experiencing it as well. (AT&T)

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.01 update

I had the same issue, but it appeared to resolve itself after a few hours.

I had the issue after my phone first updated but it fixed itself after a couple minutes

Toggled to 2G then back and my lte was back. Others have had it return on its own.

still having issues here as well (at&t)

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.01 update

No issue on my T-Mobile update. I had LTE after the phone rebooted and still going strong. I have mainly been seeing AT&T users reporting the issue. Most reported a reboot fixed it.

a reboot or reflash? I've rebooted several times, connection is intermittent

Likewise, no problem on T-Mobile (or Fi). [Fingers crossed]

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.01 update

I have a kind of odd, but possibly related question. I've got LTE ... except when I'm connected to wifi, the LTE indicator goes away. Is this normal? It's possible it's been happening all along, but I've only noticed it since the update to 6.0.1; possibly because of a couple of threads about LTE problems here on AC.

It is normal. You're still connected to LTE on the back end but it is just using wifi as the dominant connection for data. As you can see (pic below) I am connected to my home wifi in that screenshot but I have a signal monitoring app (top left) that always shows my mobile connection (which still shows I am connected to LTE on the back-end). :).

Thank you! That's what I suspected. Most likely I just never noticed or paid attention to the change in the icon until I saw the conversations here about LTE problems.

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.1 update

I have the same problem since 6.0.1 AT&T LTE.

Every time the phone restarts, I'm stuck in HSPA. Toggling 2G to LTE fixed it the very first time this happened, but it hasn't helped today.

I had to restart the phone because my stupid Fitbit app was asking me to and I was having a problem updating another app through Google Play Store.

Signal around here is wicked strong for LTE and other phones (co-workers and even my wife's iPhone) are fine for AT&T LTE.

Kind of sad. :(!

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.1 update

Ditto as everyone here with an ATT tower. Will watch this closely till next update. To be fair, I could be in a bad location. Switching preferred networks brings it back up. Thanks to Almeuit for the Meter App.

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.1 update

Same issue here on my 6P with AT&T as a carrier. If I toggle 2g then back to LTE the LTE kicks in but back to HSPA on every reboot.

Re: LTE issues on 6.0.1 update

I had an issue last night right after I activate with fi and an update to 6.0.1. Before update I had LTE, after update I had 3G. I opened up the fi app and there was a notification to update the phone's "full network capability" it took about 5 minutes then I had LTE again.
