Nexus 6P - Sad face

Odd.. I chatted with one this morning and they refunded me the $50 without any fuss.

I think they'll only adjust for orders December 1st on and it sounds like the OP ordered in November. Orders from November 27th on however, are returnable until January 22nd. So if a buyer within those four days REALLY wanted the $50 discount, they may have to return their original phone and order a new discounted phone. Not a great solution as the buyer would be out their original purchase price until Google refunds it.

One might talk Google into the $50 credit. After all, it saves them the shipping on two phones as well as having to deal with a return. On the other hand, corporate policies are corporate policies and can be etched in titanium. Depends on how flexible Google is and how amenable the representative is to logic.

That's roughly what I'm doing right now; returning my 32GB and ordered a 64GB. In my case, 50 bucks is double the memory.

The couple of times the phone showed up before the case, I just used my old phone until the case arrived. I take NO chances. But humans being the way they are, they must play then pay for their impatience.
Indeed, I got my phone and didn't use it for a week as Spigen were very slow to ship my case to Dubai then when my patience ran out I used the phone but only at my desk with the factory plastic wrapping on it. If my phone gets one scratch I sell it immediately. OCD. Now I have the Spigen tampered glass screen protector plus the Spigen ultra hybrid TPU case.
