I just received my 6P today, and right off the bat I noticed half my screen has a pink hue on it. I've contacted Google and they said they'd replace it, but before I go about that I was wondering if any others here have had the same problem? I've read a lot about pink/yellow tints on the entire screen, but nothing about partial screen issues.
Should I just get a replacement, or is it true that it should even out eventually, like I've read some people say.

What do you guys think? Have any of you had similar issues? How did you deal with it?

PS I reside in Canada and I have the 64GB Aluminium model.

For screens with partial issues (i.e. pink on top, blue on bottom, etc) I would always recommend an RMA

If the whole screen was evenly pinkish (or bluish or yellowish) I would consider keeping it and seeing if an app or modded kernel can allow you to tweak the tint more to your liking. But thats not an option if only part of the screen needs to be "tweaked"

Yup - same problem here - pink left and creamy right. I was offered a replacement but the blurb said that if Google deemed that it wasn't covered by warranty they'd charge me the full price for the device. Not sure how that works to be honest but decided to return and go Motorola.

I read somewhere that this could be due to the screen not being level - and the change in tone is normal amoled colour shift.

I guess I'll just return the phone and hope for a better replacement. If the second one isn't fine, I might just get a refund and get one from a carrier store.

I'd say there will be a lot like this. They are Samsung screens yeah? Samsung's screens on the s6 have been really bad. There's plenty out there with coloured hues.
