Android Central Question
Hey all,
I've had trouble charging my Nexus 6P for about a year. USB-C charging stopped working so I thought it was a faulty cable. I plugged it with a USB-A to USB-C cable and everything was fine. When I got my replacement USB-C to USB-C cable I plugged it in and nothing happened. Plugged the USB-A back in and the device was charging. I tried my old USB-C to USB-C cable on another device and it was working just fine.
I was thinking that maybe the charging port was damaged so I order a new one. I opened my phone (pain in the *** ...) and switch the USB port. Nothing changed ... I get the same result. USB-C does nothing and USB-A is charging the device.
I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea what I could do beyond that. Should I try a factory reset? Is there a setting to enable/disable USB-C charging?
