Android Central Question

So far, this issue occurs on my Nexus 6P and my buddy's OnePlus One on my home's wifi. My laptop and desktop have no wifi issues. Once every couple of minutes, the wifi would disconnect, phone would switch to data, then wifi would reconnect. Both the phone carrier and home internet is with Rogers. I've tried restarting both the router and phone. Selected "Forget Network" on the phone. Cleared phone's cache. Called Rogers to check on the home internet, and the rep said there are no issues with the modem.

Do those same phones experience that issue when using other Wi-Fi sources?

Assuming that they don't there's something strange about the modem/router. You could try connecting to the 5GHz band (if the router offers that), or just change the security type (temporarily) and see if that makes a difference.
