nexus 7 2012 or 2013?

hey guys i have a question. i want to buy the nexus 7 2012,but i found the nexus 7 2013 witch seemed to be better then the 2012 but in my country its like buying 2 nexus 7 2012 at once. is the 2013 version worth the money of 2 nexus 7 2012?

I own the Nexus7 2012 and even in the US the Nexus7 2012 is less than half the price of a Nexus7 2013 and I would still buy the 2013 model. And I will be in about a month if a 2014 model isn't released before hand.

It's unlikely they would release a 2014 model until this summer.

Which model is worth buying depends on your need. If I were buying for a child, and concerned that it might get broken, I would be very tempted to buy the 2012 model for much cheaper. It's still a good tablet that will play games and do many things quite well. Personally, though, buying for myself the 2013 model was totally worth the upgrade, and if I didn't have a tablet, I would go for the 2013 model over the 2012 in a heartbeat. It's quite a bit faster, better screen, thinner, lighter, and has a handful of other improvements that justify the price difference for many/most use cases.

Welcome to Android Central! In the US, there's a 4G LTE version, but I'm not sure if it's available outside the US.

Go with the 2012, you will be happy with it.

The 2012 is still one of the nicer tablets out there and some mid range tablets that are new this year are matching it's specs (but often not it's onboard memory). The 2013 model addressed some qualms that people had with the original unit and gave it a general visual makeover but a 2012 is still going to run everything you throw at it quite well.

If you can get a good deal on it, it is still an amazing tablet.

Small item, but my son who has both, prefers the feel of the 2012. He likes the textured back cover of the 2012 and fears dropping the 2013. He did mention he may get some type of skin.

The 2013 is better in paper. Depending on what you'll be using it for, the 2012 might be the better choice at the price you can purchase it at. I'd say there is nothing wrong with getting the 2012..
