Nexus 7 (2013) Auto Awesome Movie not available

I noticed that when my N7 (2013) updated to Lollipop, I lost the functionality in the Google Photos app to manually create an Auto Awesome movie (choose my own clips, music and style). Before, I would tap the 3 dots to get the option of Movie, Motion or Mix. Now, all I get are the options for Motion and Mix.

Is this a known issue with anyone else?

Anyone have a fix? I already tried to uninstall updates for the app to see if that helped, and it didn't....

Open Photos, tap Menu>Settings>your Google account, and make sure "Use this device to create Auto Awesome movies" is checked on.

Can't find my photos

Hi, I took photos and made movies while my battery was low, soon after it turned off, when I charged it and looked for the pics NOTHING!!!
I can't believe they are not there!! where are they?
his is not the first time the battery ran out, and i still could find the images.
Where do I look?
It doesn't make sense to use a file recovery software, since I didn't delete them.

Can someone help me?

I treasure precious memories, can't loose them!
