But you still have to manually transfer local documents and media files, and have to recreate your home screens with widgets and folders and shortcuts. Plus, any game progress stored locally is lost. And if you have a couple hundred apps like me, that's a lot of downloading to do over again. I'm sure there are other things I haven't thought about. All this is true, unless you're rooted and have done a backup, I suppose. It's not the end of the world, but still a bit time consuming. This is the case with most upgrades, however, so not much choice.When you get your 32 and sign in, it will transfer all your settings. Google play will list all your apps, free or otherwise, and you can install them as you see fit.

When I fired up Google Play on my 32GB Nexus 7, it pretty much listed every app that I've ever downloaded since I got my HTC Incredible a few years ago..
