That was the rumor from a month ago, so we will see what happens

This week's rumor is that a 32 gb version will be coming

On my Samsung galaxy s3 running android 4.0

Because unlike ios, i keep my apps in app drawers, and not in infinite cluttered homescreens

I would have paid another $50 for that, but not for 3G/4G capability that would be useless without a monthly data plan.

With a bluetooth headset, it could compete in the smartphone space for some demographics. There are also people who would use it simply as a tablet, without having to worry about being close to a wifi hotspot, or at customer/client sites where you don't want to go through their network. However, for people who already have an Android phone and tether a Nexus 7 to the smart phone, there may not be a lot of desire to get a second data plan instead of tethering. At least until wireless companies come up with more reasonable plans.

I have 3G now on my Nexus 7 see attached pic. Even though the WiFi here at work is much faster, there are some things that are blocked (ie voice search) so most of the time I leave the Nexus 7 connected to my phone's wifi-tethering. Anywhere I go the hotspot is with me. I just make sure I charge the phone when i'm at my desk.

$30 T-Mobile prepaid unlim Internet/ text but only 100min voice. I use Google voice on the laptop with a Bluetooth headset to supplement the minutes.

I just tether from my GNexus, which obviously I always have on me anyway.
