Nexus 7 accelerometer not working! Help please!!!!

I have a Nexus 7 8GB Running STOCK ROM JDQ39 build
Ever since I got the 4.2.2 Jellybean update I haven't been able to rotate or use the accelerometer for anything! I'm convinced it's a software bug or something or maybe it just died...IDK I even got ztest and an accelerometer tester and it shows zero 0 activity no matter how I hold or tilt my device!!! Help!!!

Hmm... sounds broken. I'd suggest exchanging it for another unit. But if you're going to do that, you'll first want to do a factory data reset before returning it. So at that point, you might as well setup up the N7 again, download an accelerometer testing app or two (try AndroSensor, also), and see if the factory reset fixed the problem. If yes, then no need to exchange it. If not, time for a new N7.

I had the same problem with my Nexus 7 after an update. I had to do a hard reset to fix it. It's been fine since.
