So I happily unwrapped my Nexus 7on christmas day, and everything works fine, but my homescreen wont rotate, so I upgrade to 4.2, but still nothing. Later on, I quit angry birds, and the homescreen is stuck in lamdscape as well as everything else. I managed to get it back to portrait by turnimg auto rotate on and off.
I've used several apps such as AndroSensor and they all give the same verdict, the Z axis of the accelerometer is stuck. Yet when I look at the 'Orientation' section, it can detect when my device is landscape but not the acceleration.
I'm not sure if there's a simple fix to this, or if it's a hardware problem and I should send it back to google.
Thanks in advance.
