Nexus 7 Calendar history

My Nexus 7 only syncs about a months worth of prior appointments / events from Google Calendar. Is anyone else having this issue?

How can I enable the device to sync more history from Google Calendar?

first step for app troubleshooting is to clear data/cache for calendar app and let it resync again

mine syncs back to june 24th, at the moment. i dont see any settings to change re the sync range.

I've had mine for 11 days and the calendar syncs just fine. My operating system was updated first thing. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not?
