Nexus 7 can't see Roverbeats T3

My Nexus 7 (2013/unrooted) has bluetooth switched on and its Android is fully updated. It can't see my Roverbeats T3. Did a soft reset and it still isn't visible. The speaker is visible to every other one of my devices. Are there bluetooth drivers which possibly need updating on the Nexus 7 or is there something I'm missing? Thank you.
