The ones recently shipped to Japan and Europe had no power supply & no cables, just the piece of plastic dock.

I assume that's what we will see in the US but nobody knows since it has not been available yet.

If you're referring to the *official* dock, nope, just a micro USB socket for your existing lead, and an audio output socket.

Expected availability has slipped to Jan 10th.

Don't waste your money on the dock. Why pay $40 for it just for audio and charging.

I agree, I don't think that thing is even worth what it would cost to ship it to me, much less $40 + shipping! I think they hit a foul ball with that thing.

Umm, each to his own. I'll probably go for it and get my daughter in NYC to pop it in a jiffy bag to post. I think it would be useful for charging whilst viewing films in landscape orientation and outputting audio without fannying around with bluetooth. If the N7's own micro USB socket is simultaneously available for an OTG cable and flash drive, even better.

Incredibly, or not, it'll only be the second official Asus accessory produced since the N7 was released half a year back.
