Nexus 7 email problem

Hi all:
I use Comcast email as my default email on my Nexus 7. I am using the xfinity app, because if I don't use the app, my Comcast email of course looks like gmail.
Anyway....when I send email through comcast, its showing as though Im sending through gmail. Is there any way to change this?
example:
When I send email from XXXXX at comcast.net, it shows up as XXXXX@gmail.com. Im baffled on how to fix this.
Anyone have an idea how to fix this? Thanks!

Are both your Comcast & gmail accounts installed in the xfinity app? Sounds like you have gmail set up as the default account.

Only have Comcast set up in the comcast app, and I have comcast set up as the default email account.

Just to clarify, when you send email directly from the xfinity app people are receiving the email as if sent from your gmail account?
