Alright, I just opened up my Nexus 7, and it prompted me to select a language and wifi network. I was then prompted to install an update, but when I went to install it, it said my system was already up to date. All that I can do now is go back to the language and wifi selection. Restarting the tablet doesn't do anything as well. Any ideas?

That's where you are suppose to be out of the box..
The Language screen.. then the Wi-Fi screen......

You can always boot into recovery and do a factory reset if you really want to start over.. but all New Nexus-7's are going to do 2 updates out of the box.. that's normal.

Yeah, I know but I never installed the update. It said I had an update to install, but when I went to install it, it said my system was already up to date without me actually installing the update. I'm stuck on the screen that says my system is up to date, and I can't get to my homescreens or anything. All I can do is go back to language and wifi selection.

Once I go to install the update, I get this screen. I connected to WiFi beforehand.

I think you have to set up WiFi to get started, no?

I connected to wifi, and then when I tried to install the update that comes right out of the box, it said my system was already up to date. All I can do now is go back to wifi and language selection.

I booted into recovery and restarted the bootloader. Problem solved, this thread can be closed. Thanks.
