Last week Google updated the device drivers for many devices and Nexus 7 here https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/drivers.
A member at Xda combined all driver to one flashable zip file.
Here are the improvements the author noticed.
"I've noticed faster GPS lock times, marginally better WiFi signal, marginally faster Bluetooth transfers, and considerably better touchscreen response. I haven't done anything to test graphics or DRM yet"
Only for Rooted users and who like playing with the device.
