Nexus 7: KitKat Klean-Up

When using my Windows PC I periodically use a "cleaner" (CCleaner, DiskCleaner) to remove temp files and remnants left behind by internet searches, app activity, etc. Is it important to do this for KitKat on Nexus 7?

If "yes", what cleaner do you use, and how often?
