Nexus 7 Saving Documents

Hello, I just got a Nexus 7 so thought I'd join the Android Central forums. I'm enjoying this tablet very much. However, as a writer, I was hoping I could edit and maybe create story ideas on my tablet. It's a great idea, only my Nexus 7 won't save either new documents or existing ones. Does anyone have any ideas why and how to fix this? My tablet is not rooted and I'm not interested in rooting it either. Thank you!

What app are you using/trying to use?

I use Google Docs almost exclusively and find ok for my simple needs...

When I want to bang out a quick note, AK Notepad is awesome and provides a way to automatically back the notes up to the Cloud:

Need more info. there are apps that can create, edit, etc. I use Dropbox in conjunction with Kingsoft.Office.

I'm using Kingsoft Office. I thought maybe I would have to buy one of the other office suites in order to save, but have seen that others appear to be having similar trouble. (In the various app reviews.) If I try to create a new document or memo, or an existing document it starts to save and then pops up a message that says "Error Saving Document!" The document doesn't save. This is very frustrating!

sorry, don't know why you are having trouble saving new docs in kingsoft office. it works fine here. i hate to say it but perhaps you need to reset your device if the usual things haven't helped (uninstall, clear app data...)
