Exactly, they're making a cheap cover and hiding most of the price in the shipping. But, even at that it still is a low cost so may be worth it.

The. 99 deal is only for black. Any other color is $5.99.

The Poetic case is not for the new Nexus. I have that case for my "old" Nexus. I like it a lot.

is much cheaper, and looks to be better for durability and protection. although, dont know why they didnt just go with black thread.

this ones decent enough too, but would prefer something a bit softer textured...

I have had 2 Poetic covers and both of them fell apart, for .99 I won't feel so bad when it falls apart.

Not with these, from what I saw everything ships Aug 13th, I just have my new Nexus sitting in the case for my old Nexus until the new ones comes in.

I just ordered the Asus Nexus FHD case from Amazon. In stock, Prime 2-day shipping, I'll have it Saturday. $19.99. Three days is better than a month which is what the other case I wanted was. Sept. 5 was that delivery date. No way did I want to go a month without a case.

It probably is. That's not uncommon for cases for new devices. They may or may not have started production yet.

Just got mine in the mail today. Fits perfectly, works as advertised. For 99 cents no complaints!

I got my 99c Moko Ultra Slim today, too. Nice enough case, truly, except the left corners don't really grip very well. The top left is slightly better than the bottom left.

I got my Moko slim-fit today, fits great, wake option seems a little erratic, sometimes wakes instantly, sometimes takes 30 seconds.

Main point is I have a case to protect the device and 99 cents, even with the shipping was a great price.

I also received mine today. Didn't like it. It cannot protect my screen from abuse aside from scratches and dust. Wouldn't trust leaving my device lying around without my eyes on it. Also dislike the inner magnet which can easily scratch your screen. Wish the cover were more bulky. Anyway since got it so cheap, will use it as spare sometime.. but only inside the house. The only good thing I can think of is its compact and good fit.
