Nexus 7 storage

After i got my answers in the last thread I decided to buy the nexus and the only thing that I dont sure about is the storage.
I saw in some places that the 16gb model don't really come with 16gb but with a little less, I just need to know with how much storage the 16 gb model really come with.

It's like that with all storage, and on top of that, the OS needs space.
