For those with the GPS issue have you complained to Google about it?
I think the more complaints they receive the better, not sure how wide spread it is or how many complaints it takes for it to become a priority but it can't hurt.

If it still doesn't work properly after we get KitKat, I will probably complain. As it is, that's a big update coming within weeks, if not days, so I can give them that much patience.
